Flew over Clouds

Do you like aviation and photos? If yes, come to see the “Flew over clouds” exhibition at the University of Warsaw Library (Dobra St. 56, Warsaw, Poland) presenting the 100 finest photos which have been submitted to the photo contest of the Polish Aviation Institute for its 85th anniversary.

A President, a Region and a Company

According to John O’Sullivan, noted author of The President, The Pope, and The Prime Minister, three people played major roles in the Central Eastern European (CEE) system change back in 1989-1990. These were: President Reagan, Pope John Paul II of Polish origin and Margaret Thatcher, then British Prime Minister. And of course we should never forget about the elemental longing for freedom and change the nations living in CEE demonstrated.
