Looking Forward to the 2012 Adventure
The GE for CEE blog was born in mid 2011 and the GE team of 12 has strived ever since to offer our readers insights from some of this year’s hotspots.
Just to name a few – the 21st Economic Forum in Krynica, the preview for the 2012 London Olympic Park, the launch of the Polish GE Innovation Barometer, the European Forum for New Ideas, GE’s Healthymagination Challenge, the opening of the European Lighting Experiment Center in Budapest, the first GE aircraft engine designed outside the US in the Czech Republic, the tenth edition of the GE Healthcare’s Bridge of Health walk in Budapest, Water Is the New Oil - ExpoApa conference in Bucharest and Raising the Temperature for Innovation with a breakfast meeting organized by GE at the European Parliament.
We have had more than 100 blog posts, close to 1/3 of them being written by our external partners, like Globe Europe or the European House of Ambrosetti. The PM of the Czech Republic, the Deputy PM of Hungary, Nani Beccalli, President & CEO for GE Europe, Danuta Huebner, Polish MEP, shared their thoughts with our viewers.
By joining our blog, you become part of an online multi-stakeholder dialogue for a prosperous Central and Eastern Europe in 2012. Our main goal is to generate ideas and enthusiasm about how nations can work together to make this region shine.
We also want to hear your thoughts in response to our posts on this blog and hope it will become an open platform for sharing ideas. This blog and its companions – a YouTube channel, EszterforCEE twitter feed, LinkedInGEforCEE Group and GEforCEE Facebook page – offer photos and videos, news, technology, human interest stories and viewpoints on important topics which interconnect the countries from the region and the entire CEE with the world.
